The privacy policy and terms for the Elaionas Chrome extension — your data, the platform and its rules in one place.
01 / Privacy
GDPR
We respect your privacy and process personal data only when there is a clear, lawful reason to do so.
What we may process
- Your account details (username) and your passkey, stored only as a salted cryptographic hash.
- The resume you upload or paste (PDF/DOCX files are parsed locally on your device; the file itself is never uploaded), and the job-posting text of the page you choose to analyse.
- Analysis results and history, so your versions follow you across devices.
- Necessary security and service logs used to protect the service. Your IP address is used only transiently for rate limiting — it is not stored.
How analysis works
Your resume and the selected job posting are sent to our AI provider, Mistral AI (a French, EU-based company), solely to produce the analysis. They are not used to train AI models. Hosting and storage are provided by Cloudflare.
The analysis is decision support: it suggests rephrasing, and no legal or similarly significant decision is made about you by automated means. Only the analysed match score is shown — we do not show an estimated “after” score, because the effect of the changes is not measured.
Your rights
You may request access, correction or deletion of your personal data, restrict its processing, object to processing, or ask for data portability where applicable. You can delete your account and all your data yourself, at any time, with the “Delete my data” button on the Account screen in the extension. You may also lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection (ÚOOOO, www.uoou.cz). We answer privacy requests within one month; for complex cases this can be extended by two further months, and we will tell you.
How long we keep data
- Your account, resume and history: until you change them or delete your account.
- Session tokens: 7 days, then they expire automatically.
- Analysis results: identical analyses are cached anonymously for at most 1 hour; the cache is not linked to you and cannot be attributed to you.
- Deleting one analysis from your history removes its content on all devices. Deleting your account removes everything — copies on your other signed-in devices are cleared the next time they contact the service.
02 / About the platform
General info
Elaionas analyses how well your resume matches a job posting, shows your strengths and gaps, and suggests truthful, targeted rephrasing so your experience fits the role better. We never invent experience, roles or skills that are not in your original resume.
Elaionas is a Chrome extension with a small backend: the extension reads the job posting on the page you are viewing, and the backend compares it with your resume using AI. The extension can also look up public company interview reviews on jakybylpohovor.cz.
Our approach
- Strict mode by default: suggestions only rephrase experience that is really in your resume — nothing is invented.
- You review every suggestion and decide what to accept — nothing is applied without your decision.
- The original resume is never changed. The export is a separate tailored copy: your own text with the accepted suggestions applied; suggestions whose original text is no longer in your resume are skipped, never guessed.
- Export formats: a printable PDF view, a Word-compatible DOCX file, or a plain-text copy to the clipboard.
Demo (test) release
This is a test version for a closed group of friends. It is free of charge, no payments are processed, and accounts are created by invitation only. Each new analysis uses 1 credit; credits are a test quota, not money — they cannot be bought. Analysing and reviewing suggestions is open to everyone with an account; taking the tailored resume out of the extension (PDF/DOCX download, copy) is limited to users with full access. The service, its features and these terms may change or end at any time, and no warranty or service-level commitment applies while it is in test mode.

04 / Browser data
Cookies & extension storage
The extension does not use cookies at all. It uses the browser’s local storage on your own device to keep the service secure, functional and easy to improve.
You can clear extension data at any time by removing the extension or via your browser’s site/extension data settings; deleting your account clears it everywhere (see GDPR). If analytics cookies are ever enabled on this website, they will be set only with your prior consent, and you can withdraw consent at any time through cookie settings.

Terms of use
By using Elaionas you agree to use it lawfully and respectfully. Demo terms v1.0 — effective 9 October 2026.
Using the service
- Use your own resume. Process only data you have the right to process.
- You stay responsible. The tool assists you; you remain responsible for the accuracy and truthfulness of what you submit and of your final resume.
- Stay truthful. Do not use the service to fabricate experience, skills or credentials.
- Protect sensitive data. When uploading a CV, remove data you consider sensitive (health, union membership, etc.) — the analysis does not need it.
Acceptable use
- No automated mass requests, scraping or abuse of the API.
- Each new analysis uses 1 credit; identical repeated requests within one hour are served from cache and are free. Credits are refunded automatically if the AI service fails. In this demo, credits are a test quota — they are not money and cannot be bought.
Your data
You can export your profile and history, and delete your account with all your data yourself at any time, with the “Delete my data” button on the Account screen in the extension (see GDPR).
Moderation & changes
We may limit, suspend or terminate access that violates these conditions or applicable law. These terms may be updated when the service or legal requirements change; the current version is always published on this page.
